SUKABUMI - The Sukabumi City Police gave appreciation to Iyus, a security unit officer (security guard) on duty at the Villa Cantik tourist attraction. Warudoyong District, Sukabumi City, West Java, who found the stolen motorbike on Monday, May 23.

"We appreciate the security guards who swiftly reported the findings of the stolen motorbike to the Warudoyong Police so that officers can quickly follow up and the motorbike can be returned to its owner," said Sukabumi Police Binmas Head Commissioner Adjutant Iman Retno in Sukabumi, Monday, May 23.

According to Iman, with this information, his party immediately visited the owner of the vehicle and the security guard who found the motorcycle.

He also appealed to residents to be even more vigilant in parking their vehicles and if they see or know there is no crime in their respective areas to immediately report as has been done by the security guard.

Contacted separately, Warudoyong Police Chief Commissioner Budi Setiana said that after receiving a report on the finding of a stolen motorbike, Warudoyong Police officers then immediately went to the location to investigate and find the owner.

"The Honda Beat motorbike with police number F 3863 OJ which was stolen was first discovered by Iyus at the Sawahbera Public Cemetery (TPU), Dayeuhluhur Village, Warudoyong District, on Monday, May 23, who immediately reported it to the Warudoyong Police," he said, quoted by Antara.

After being traced, it turned out that the owner of the motorbike was a resident of the Emerald Residence Housing, Warudoyong District on behalf of Endang Subarna. After asking for information and the owner was able to complete the motorcycle ownership certificate, the police returned to hand it over to the owner.

From the statement of the motorcycle owner, the perpetrator of the theft of the motor vehicle entered the housing complex by breaking through the housing barrier. It is suspected that the stolen vehicle broke down, the perpetrator finally left the stolen goods in the cemetery area.
