Eight Areas In Jakarta Are Flood Alert

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) said that as many as eight areas in Jakarta and its surroundings were still on alert status for floods until Friday at 22.00 WIB.

Based on data compiled by Antara in Jakarta, Friday night, the eight regions are Cengkareng Timur, Cengkareng Barat, Duri Kosambi, Kapuk, Kedaung Kaliangke, Kembangan Utara, Rawa Buaya and Semanan.

Reporting from Antara , Saturday, the data is based on monitoring of the increase in the upstream Angke monitoring post, until 22.00 WIB.

BPBD DKI also noted that there were 30 areas at the neighborhood level (RT) and 25 roads inundated in five areas of Jakarta City, due to the rain since Friday evening.

"Based on the last incoming data at 18.00 WIB, 30 RTs and 25 roads were inundated. Until now, there are no refugees and refugee posts," said Head of Data and Information Center for DKI Jakarta BPBD Mohammad Insyaf.

Nevertheless, Insyaf stated that the number of RTs inundated constituted 0.10 percent of the total RTs in Jakarta of 30,687.

In detail, 30 RTs were inundated, consisting of four RTs in South Jakarta, namely Bangka Village with a water level of 10 cm-30 cm: one RT and a height of 31 cm-70 cm: there was one RT, Petogogan Village (one RT with a height of 10 cm -30 cm and one RT height 31 cm-70 cm).

The West Jakarta area has 21 RTs consisting of Srengseng Village (one RT with a height of 10 cm-30 cm and three RT with a height of 31 cm-70 cm), Sukabumi Utara Village (one RT with a height of 10 cm-30 cm, one RT with a height of 31 cm-70. cm, one RT with a height of 71 cm-150 cm), Kelurahan Kebon Jeruk (two RT with a height of 10 cm-30 cm, one RT with a height of 31 cm-70 cm), and Kelurahan Kedoya Selatan (four RT with a height of 10 cm-30 cm).

Then, Duri Kepa Village (one RT with a height of 31 cm-70 cm), Sukabumi Selatan Village (one RT with a height of 10 cm-30 cm), Palmerah Village (one RT with a height of 10 cm-30 cm), one RT with a height of 31 cm-70 cm), Kelurahan Jelambar (one RT with a height of 10 cm-30 cm), and Kelurahan Tanjung Duren Utara (two RT with a height of 10 cm-30 cm).

The East Jakarta area has one RT in Pulogadung Village (height 10 cm-30 cm), the North Jakarta area consists of two RTs consisting of Kebon Bawang Village (two RTs with a height of 10 cm-30 cm), the Central Jakarta area there are two RTs consisting of Johar Village. Baru (one RT with a height of 10 cm-30 cm), and Kelurahan Cempaka Putih Barat (one RT with a height of 10 cm-30 cm).
