COVID-19 Update As Of May 19: 318 New Cases From Examination Of 127.464 Specimens

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 127.464 specimens were examined with the results of 318 new positive cases of COVID-19.

"The total accumulated positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6.051.850 people and active cases have fallen by 78 to 3.766 cases," said Ministry of Health data, Thursday, May 19.

In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens has reached 97.850.450.

"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 0.34 percent," he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 4.083 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

So far, 199.741.802 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 166.492.274 people have received the second dose of vaccination.
