Minister Of Home Affairs Appoints Acting Regents Of Lembata And East Flores

KUPANG - Minister of Home Affairs, Tito Karnavian, has appointed two officials within the scope of the Government of East Nusa Tenggara to become acting in the Regents of East Flores and Lembata to replace the regents and deputy regents in the two regions whose terms of office expire on May 22, 2022.

"The Ministry of Home Affairs has appointed two acting regents for the regencies of Lembata and East Flores", said Head of the Administration Bureau for the East Nusa Tenggara Provincial Secretariat, Doris Rihi, quoted by Antara, Thursday, May 19.

According to him, according to the instructions from the Ministry of Home Affairs, the two officials who have been appointed as acting regents must immediately be sworn in because the terms of office of the Regent Thomas Ola Langoday and the Regent-Deputy Regent of East Flores, Antonius Hubertus Gege Hadjon-Agustinus Payong Boli ended on May 22, 2022.

He explained that according to the plan of the Governor of East Nusa Tenggara Viktor Bungtilu Laiskodat to inaugurate the acting Regents of Lembata and East Flores simultaneously on Sunday, May 22.
