JAKARTA - Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) from the Gerindra faction, Fadli Zon, spoke about a senior journalist for the Al Jazeera news agency who was a Palestinian national, Shireen Abu Akleh, was shot dead by the Israeli military.

Al Jazeera reported that the Palestinian Ministry of Health said Shireen was injured in the head by live bullets and was rushed to hospital. His condition was critical and he was declared dead at the hospital.
