JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Police of the National Police not only examined a number of artists related to the flow of funds for the DNA Pro trading robot. This is because investigators will also ask for information from the manager of the Bima Perkasa basketball club.

Later, investigators will explore the issue of sponsorship. This is because the Bima Perkasa club through its Instagram account @bimaperkasajgj had promoted the Gala Dinner & Launching Partnership with DNA Pro which was held at the Tentrem Hotel, Yogyakarta, on November 7, 2021.

As for the progress of the investigation, at least 10 victim witnesses and several experts were questioned.

"A total of 10 victim witnesses have been examined, then examined expert witnesses from the trade ministry," said Gatot.

For information, the DNA Pro trading robot company reported 242 members on suspicion of fraudulent investment. The total loss reached IDR 73 billion.

Hundreds of these victims joined DNA Pro from April 2021 to January 2022. They were lulled into the lure of cashing out at any time without a nominal limit.

Meanwhile, Bareskrim has named 12 suspects in the case. Seven of them have been arrested and detained, the rest are still being sought.
