As quoted in a press release received by the Konawe Police Public Relations in Kendari, Wednesday, April 20, the Head of the Operations Section of the Konawe Police, Commissioner Djamaluddin Saho, said that the cash assistance for street vendors, stalls, and fishermen (BTPKLWN) was worth IDR 600,000 per beneficiary family.
He explained, that in this case, the police distributed the cash assistance to 4,000 beneficiary families from street vendors and shop owners as well as 1,112 beneficiary families from fishing groups.
The government assistance aimed at encouraging the recovery of small business activities has been distributed since yesterday in several sub-districts in the Konawe Regency.
"So all of those who did not come when we carried out the previous distribution, we gathered here all of them. Today's target here is around 600, hopefully, all of them will attend today", said Commissioner Djamaluddin Saho as quoted by Antara.
