TABANAN - A resident in Tabanan, Bali, who is suspected of having a mental disorder or ODGJ goes berserk. He slashed the piglet with a machete.

The ODGJ is named I Made Adiasa alias Dek Joko (40). The perpetrator has now been taken to Bangli Hospital, Bali.

"After being secured in handcuffs, the person concerned was taken to BRSU Tabanan, for treatment. It is planned to be sent to the Bangli Mental Hospital," said Penebel Police Chief AKP I Nyoman Artadana, Monday, April 18.

This incident occurred on Sunday, April 17 in Riang Gede Village, Penebel District, Tabanan Regency, Bali. At that time, at around 07.00 WITA, the burly Dek Joko hit a resident and injured him.

After that, Dek Joko went berserk again and slashed the resident's piglet with a machete. The police also came to the location.

When approached, Dek Joko attacked the police. The Penebel Police Chief, AKP I Nyoman Artadana, who gave the warning, was also attacked.

However, with the self-defense technique possessed by the Artadana Police Chief, he managed to paralyze Dek Joko by slamming and locking him. Dek Joko was handcuffed.

"He is a recidivist and has served time in Kerobokan Prison and Bangli Prison for being involved in narcotics abuse cases and serving sentences from 2011 to the end of December 2020," he said.

"During his sentencing, around 2017 he experienced a mental disorder, so he received treatment for about two months and then underwent outpatient treatment," he said.
