JAKARTA - Social media activist and UI lecturer Ade Armando is still being treated after being beaten by a group of people in front of the DPR Building. Ade Armando's eyes look swollen.

The current condition of Ade Armando was shared by Denny Siregar through his Twitter account.

"For those who ask how is Ade, he is safe and not too bad," tweeted Denny, Monday, April 11.

In the photo, Ade is seen resting in a bed. From the clothes he was wearing, it was highly suspected that Ade was already in a hospital.

No more blood running down the face. However, Ade Armando's eyes were quite swollen. When in the photo, Ade is wearing a mask with wet hair.

"Get well soon, bro Ade.. And thank you to the students, police and people who have saved him from the cowardly hyenas who were playing a gang..." Denny tweeted again.

Ade Armando deliberately came to the front of the DPR building, which was the location for the BEM SI demonstration during the April 11 demonstration. To reporters, Ade Armando admitted that he did not join the students and only monitored the demonstration.

"I did not participate in the demonstration, but I am monitoring it and I want to state that I support it," said Ade Armando when met at the location, Monday, April 11.

Ade admitted that at a young age, he only wanted to support students who wanted to express their freedom of expression. Ade also hoped that this activity would not end in chaos because anarchist groups infiltrated it.

"I'm from the older generation, I want to see no matter how much I support the democratic movement. I hope this movement doesn't become chaotic and anarchic, and especially if the STM children join. But it seems like nothing has happened so far," he said.

Ade Armando's hopes were wrong. Even the rioting of the demo led to him being the victim.

Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran said six of his members were also victims of mass violence at the demonstration in the DPR RI building area. They were targeted when evacuating Ade Armando from the crowd.

"Six of our members were injured," said Inspector General Fadil.

However, this two-star general did not clearly explain the injuries suffered by his members. It was only conveyed, that six of his men had received treatment.

Fadil also promised to arrest the perpetrators of the beating. In fact, the identity of the alleged perpetrator has been pocketed.
