Having Closeness To The Airlangga Family, The Grand Imam Of The Itiqlal Mosque Prays For Ketum Golkar's Success

JAKARTA - The Grand Imam of the Jakarta Istiqlal Mosque, Prof. Nasaruddin Umar, gave a tausyiah at the inauguration of the Golkar Party Ulama's DPP (Satkar) management, Thursday, March 31 evening.

Before starting his tausyiah, Nasaruddin referred to the General Chair of the Golkar Party's DPP, Airlangga Hartarto, as 'adinda'.

Nasaruddin explained, special mention for Airlangga because the two have an emotional relationship for a long time. Namely, since there was the late Hartarto Sastrosoenarto, Airlangga Hartarto's father.

"Once a week, he invited me to his house, to give recitations to his sons and daughters. Including Adinda Airlangga," said Prof Nasaruddin during the inauguration of the DPP Satkar Ulama board in Jakarta, Thursday, March 31, quoted Friday 1 April.

The former deputy minister of religion admitted that he and the family of the Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto were like family.

"So it's natural that we also have the right to pray for him (Airlangga Hartarto) for success," said Prof Nasaruddin.

Meanwhile, in his tausyiah in front of all Golkar and Satkar Ulama cadres, Prof. Nasaruddin advised all cadres to become unifying figures for the nation.

According to him, as long as there is Golkar in Indonesia, groups that can harm the country will never develop.

The Grand Imam of the Istiqlal Mosque assessed that the religious organizations owned by Golkar have long been transformed into pillars of the sky for the party bearing the banyan tree.

"Therefore, Golkar must contribute to saving the nation from attacks by foreign ideologies that are not in line with Pancasila," said Prof Nasaruddin.

He is optimistic that the Golkar Ulama Satkar will be able to present Islam that is rahmatan lil'alamin in Indonesia. In addition, he advised all Golkar and Ulama Satkar cadres to make the Holy Month of Ramadan a place to spread kindness and love.

"Want to use any jacket, but the yellow jacket has been proven in history to be able to nourish Pancasila in our country, here," said Prof Nasaruddin.
