JAKARTA - The Directorate General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights will now find it easier to prevent bad people from leaving Indonesia. There is now an online application for Prevent and Prevent (Clock) applications.
Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) Ahmad Sahroni appreciated this application. He assessed that through this system, law enforcers can easily input the names of suspected criminals so that they do not enter or flee abroad.
"I was also informed that the Director-General of Immigration has released the 'Cekal Online' application, where with this application, law enforcers can easily input the names of suspected criminals so that they do not enter or flee abroad," said Sahroni at the Complex. Parliament, Jakarta, Thursday, March 31, quoted from Antara.
He stated this when chairing a Hearing Meeting (RDP) with the Director-General of General Legal Administration, the Director-General of Immigration, and the Director-General of Intellectual Property of the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
Sahroni assessed that the system was the right innovation because it was able to cut bureaucratic lines in law enforcement. In the modern era like today, the use of technology such as the "Clock Online" application is really needed.
"This is of course to ensure that law enforcement in the country is always up to date and no less sophisticated than the criminals themselves," he said.
According to him, with the "Online Blocking", legal efforts to ban suspected criminal actors can be carried out swiftly and quickly.
That's why he considered the "Clock Online" system to be an example of a good and appropriate use of technology.
