JCI Opens Strong, Analyst Recommends Lippo Cikarang And Pakuwon Jati Shares

JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) opened in the green zone on trading Tuesday, September 29. JCI opened higher by 0.61 percent or 29.77 points to 4,936.32 levels.

Opening trades, 75 stocks rose, 7 stocks fell, and 17 stocks remained stagnant. The trading volume was recorded at 79.97 million shares with a transaction value of IDR 55.40 billion

JCI movement in today's trading still has the potential to increase, even though at the beginning of the week it ended in the red zone with 0.79 percent weakening to 4,905 levels.

"Technically, the opportunity for a strengthening of the JCI is still wide open," said PT Binaartha Parama Sekuritas analyst Muhammad Nafan Aji Gusta Utama in his research.

Nafan said, JCI is trying to maintain the first support at 4,865 levels and the second support at 4,778, while the first resistance target is at 4,975 levels and the second resistance is at 5,097.

Thus, he explained, the potential increase in the JCI rate today could be utilized by investors by accumulating the purchase of shares of PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO), PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM), PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF), PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk. (LPCK), and PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON).

A similar projection was conveyed by the analyst of PT Reliance Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (RELI), Lanjar Nafi. He mentioned that today's JCI movement would have the opportunity to strengthen towards the closest resistance target at the 5.070 level.

"Technically, JCI is moving in a consolidated manner, and then has the opportunity to strengthen, with support-resistance at the level of 4,816-5,070," he said.

Furthermore, Lanjar said that the potential increase in the JCI could be addressed by investors by collecting shares of PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI), PT Adhi Karya Tbk (ADHI), PT Jasa Marga Tbk (JSMR), PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk (LPCK), PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON), PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR), and PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA).
