The scarcity of bulk cooking oil was discovered when the Governor of Jambi Al Haris and his group made a sudden inspection (sidak) at the Angso Duo market in Jambi. At that time, the group went straight to the shops and found the scarcity of one of the basic necessities for now.

There were about three shops owned by traders in the market which was visited by the Governor of Jambi Al Haris and the scarcity of bulk cooking oil appeared because many traders did not want to sell for the reason of barrels or shelters.

"So many traders don't sell bulk cooking oil anymore, that's why it's hard to find in the Angso Duo market, where actually the stock itself is relatively safe, because many producers have been found and stocks are still quite a lot, but the problem is that traders don't want to sell bulk oil, so distributors are difficult. want to market bulk oil," said Al Haris, Wednesday, March 30, as reported by Antara.

Al Haris asked traders to be willing to sell bulk cooking oil because there are quite a lot of stocks in Jambi and his party also asked the Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID) to also sell bulk cooking oil because if it is not sold, the prices of other cooking oil will fluctuate.
