The man who is familiarly called Yugo hopes that the Appi-Rahman legal team's report will be immediately followed up by the Makassar Bawaslu. So that the case of destroying campaign props in the Makassar Pilkada will not be repeated.

Meanwhile, Appi-Rahman Spokesperson, Fadli Noor, said the destruction of billboards was a violation and could trigger unfair competition in the Makassar Pilkada. The head of the South Sulawesi PSI said reporting to Bawaslu was the right step in responding to the destruction of billboards.

"There is no need to respond by destroying other candidate pairs' billboards as well. We remain polite. Yesterday we removed the billboards covering the Appi-Rahman billboards carefully. But yes, there is an alleged violation, so we report it to the authorities, "said Fadli.

The destruction of the billboards of Appi-Rahman, the pair number 2 in the Makassar Pilkada occurred at several points. In the Tello area, the large Appi-Rahman billboard was covered by another passport billboard. The same thing happened on Jalan Hertasning and Mallengkeri.

The head of the Appi-Rahman winning team, Erwin Aksa and candidate pairs Munafri Arifuddin and Abdul Rahman Bando also always reminded their team not to take retaliation against any attempts at provocation or negative campaigns.

"We must maintain politeness in campaigning. If there is a provocation, negative campaign, we will take legal action if it goes too far and it is detrimental to us," said Erwin Aksa.
