MPR Chairman: Ichsan Firdaus Is A Trustworthy Person

JAKARTA - Chairman of the MPR RI Bambang Soesatyo (Bamsoet) told DPR RI Member Ichsan Firdaus died while completing his doctoral program in Yogyakarta.

"The last time I met him was Wednesday, March 23, before he left for Yogyakarta to complete his doctorate at Gadjah Mada University (UGM)," said Bamsoet, in Jakarta, Sunday, March 27.

Bamsoet revealed that Ichsan is a young politician who is trustworthy and serious in carrying out his duties and responsibilities.

"Ichsan Firdaus is a good person. He is one of the few young politicians in the DPR who work hard to fulfill their mandate," said Bamsoet.

Fellow Golkar Party politician, I hope that Bamsoet will not regret the khotimah and family left behind by fortitude.

Previously, the chairman of the Golkar Party DPP Tubagus Ace Hasan Syadzily said the figure of Ichsan Firdaus is a young cadre who is actively carrying out his duties as people's representatives.

"We, the big family of the Golkar Party, have lost the attention that we have taken part in our second term as members of the DPR RI from the Golkar Party faction," said Ace when contacted in Jakarta, Sunday.

Ichsan Firdaus is a Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives for the 2014-2019 and 2019-2024 periods. Ichsan reportedly died of a heart attack while in Yogyakarta.
