JAKARTA - Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin spoke about the inclusion of the National Mandate Party (PAN) into the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet. He said, as long as it doesn't interfere with the party's allotment, then there's no problem.

"The important thing is not to disturb PKB's position. Please come in, don't disturb PKB," Muhaimin told reporters quoted on Friday, March 25.

He also has no problem with PAN getting one minister and a deputy minister. "Please, as long as you don't disturb PKB," he said.

"If it interferes with PKB, the situation will be like Ukraine vs Russia, PAN against PKB," added the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR).

For information, PAN has confirmed the news that its party will get one minister and deputy minister in the government cabinet of Joko Widodo (Jokowi)-Ma'ruf Amin. This is the background of the cabinet reshuffle or reshuffle.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chairperson of PAN Viva Yoga Mauladi said that the cabinet reshuffle was of course the authority of President Jokowi in accordance with Article 17 of the 1945 Constitution.

"The issue of the PAN reshuffle is still guided by Article 17 of the 1945 Constitution that it is the authority and prerogative of the President because the minister is the assistant to the president," he said in a written statement.

"PAN really loves and aspires to Cak Imin and PKB. Cak Imin is a polite and humorous politician. PAN and PKB are like twin brothers, cannot be separated as political forces carrying a national and national mission," he said.
