JAKARTA - The chairman of the Vox Point Indonesia National Leadership Council, Handoyo Budhi Sedjati said, as a vaccine made by the nation's children, the Nusantara Vaccine produced better results after vaccination compared to conventional vaccines that are currently circulating. That's why he suggested that Jokowi be a booster volunteer with Nusantara Vaccines.

The Nusantara vaccine made by Doctor Terawan Agus Putranto is the original work of the nation's children in overcoming a number of diseases including the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Handoyo also wondered why the Nusantara Vaccine was not used as a booster. In fact, he said, the former Minister of Health, Siti Fadilah Supari, had also confirmed and given confidence that the Nusantara Vaccine should be used as a booster.

However, according to Handoyo, Nusantara Vaccines need regulation from the government so that there is a legal umbrella.

"I think it is very easy to make laws, so that if there is political will from the government, regulations can be made immediately," said Handoyo, during a conversation with Askara, Tuesday, March 22.

A number of national figures have also received the Nusantara Vaccine. These figures, said Handoyo, can be witnesses and strengthen that the Nusantara Vaccine can be used as a booster.

On the other hand, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) can also be an example of volunteers using the Nusantara Vaccine booster.

"I think what's wrong, if in the past the President wanted to be a volunteer pioneer of vaccines that were not made by the nation's children, now the President also wants to be a pioneer of Nusantara Vaccines," he said.

According to Yoga, the momentum to make domestically-made vaccines, especially the Nusantara Vaccine as a booster, was very appropriate when the Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto decided to do a booster with the vaccine, which was initiated by the former Minister of Health, Terawan Agus Putranto.

"Mr. Prabowo has decided on a booster vaccine with the Nusantara Vaccine, what is the government waiting for?" asked Yoga.

Previously, Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto had also carried out a booster vaccination with the Nusantara Vaccine after previously vaccinating against COVID-19.

The injection of the Nusantara Vaccine to Prabowo was carried out directly by the former Minister of Health, Terawan Agus Putranto.

Prabowo shared the moment of injecting the Nusantara Vaccine on his Instagram account which was uploaded on Thursday, January 13.

In the photo, Prabowo is seen being injected by Terawan who is sitting in a chair. "Improve immune and immunity with the Nusantara Vaccine," Prabowo wrote.
