Ukraine Gets Reinforcement From Biden Government, Deadly Drone With Accurate Strike

JAKARTA - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's speech in front of the US congress, bears sweet fruit. President Joe Biden announced an additional $800 million in military support for Ukraine in the face of Russian onslaught.

Quoted from NBC News, Thursday, March 17, the new aid package will drastically increase the amount of military support going to Ukraine to include 800 anti-aircraft systems, 9.000 anti-armor systems, 7,000 small weapons such as rifles, and grenade launchers, and drones.

"This could be a long and difficult battle. But the American people will continue to support us for the Ukrainian people in the face of Putin's immoral and unethical attacks on the civilian population," Biden said.

"We are united in our hatred of Putin's lecherous attacks. And we will continue to support them as they fight for their freedom, their democracy, their survival."

Let's talk about drones. Reportedly Biden Ukraine US-made killer drone. It is a state-of-the-art guided missile that can accurately target Russian troops from miles away.

There are two weapon variants, the Switchblade 300 and 600, which have been sold to US Special Operations Command by manufacturer AeroVironment. The secret weapon is designed for precise attacks on personnel and can destroy tanks and other armored vehicles.

The Switchblade is basically a robotic smart bomb, equipped with a camera, guidance system, and explosives. They can be programmed to automatically attack targets miles away, and they can be steered around the target until the time is right to strike. The company says the 600 can fly for 40 minutes and up to 50 miles.

Quoted from ABC News, the Switchblade is not like the long-range Predator drone that has been the mainstay of the US weapon. Switchblades look similar to small planes and fire missiles at targets.

Even the Switchblade can be tucked into a backpack and fly straight at the target to detonate its tiny warhead.

Less than 2 feet long and weighing just 5.5 pounds, the Switchblade 300 can be launched from a small mortar-like tube, after which it can fly for up to 15 minutes. The larger Switchblade 600 is effective against armored targets and can fly for over 40 minutes, but weighs 50 pounds.
