"It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we share the news this morning about our beloved cameraman Pierre Zakrzewski," Scott said.
"Pierre is a war zone photographer who covered nearly every international story for FOX News from Iraq to Afghanistan to Syria during his long tenure with us," he added.
"His passion and talent as a journalist is unmatched," he continued.
"Pierre is present in all of our international coverage. I, like many others, always feel an extra sense of security when I arrive on the scene and see it with camera in hand," said Fox News president and executive editor Jay Wallace.
Scott said, Pierre Zakrzewski is a specialist war cameraman. He participated in covering the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria.
"We extend our deepest condolences to Pierre's wife, Michelle, and family - please keep it all in your prayers."
