Thousands Of Mourners Attend The Funeral Of The Regent Of North Gorontalo

GORONTALO - Thousands of mourners attended the funeral of the Regent of North Gorontalo, Gorontalo, Indra Yasin in Timbuolo Kabila Village, Botupingge District, Bone Bolango Regency.

Head of the Protocol and Communications Section for the Head of the local Regional Secretariat, Syahril Mointi, said that the body of Regent Indra Yasin was previously buried in his private residence in Heledulaa Village, Gorontalo City.

The body was then delivered to the family graveyard complex in Timbuolo Kabila with a traditional funeral procession marked by giving the deceased a traditional title or Ta'uwa Lo Madala with the title Tailo Paduma To Ayuwa.

The body was released by the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Gorontalo Province, Darda Daraba representing the Governor of Gorontalo.

Regent Indra Yasin breathed his last at his private residence on Thursday (3/3) morning at around 04.00 WITA.

The deceased left a wife, mother Reni Yasin Hiola and three daughters.
