Dr Tirta Posts Photos Of The Attempted Robbery At The Senayan Flyover, Police: We're Still Looking For The Culprit

JAKARTA – Dr Tirta posted four photos showing two men on a motorbike, trying to steal a cyclist's cellphone at the Senayan Flyover near TVRI, Central Jakarta. Although the attempted robbery failed, the Tanah Abang Sector Police continued to search for the two perpetrators.

The ones targeted are mostly girls, gentlemen and soloriding

Tanah Abang Metro Police Chief AKBP Haris confirmed the information. Haris said that he got the information from an Instagram post related to an attempt to snatch a cellphone at the Senayan Flyover, near TVRI.

"We are trying to identify him now, and we are dispatching a team to look for the suspect. He doesn't seem to be the first time he has done this. The information has been frequent in South Jakarta," said AKBP Haris to reporters, Wednesday, March 2.

The police chief said that until now no one has made a report to Tanah Abang (Mapolsek).

"No, so far no one has reported to Tanah Abang," he said.

Although there has been no report from the victim, the police are still conducting an investigation regarding the viral incident.

"We're still looking, don't worry about things like that," said the police chief.
