Need To Know, Tangerang Starts Applying Traffic Engineering On Daan Mogot Street

TANGERANG - The Department of Transportation (Dishub) will carry out traffic engineering in parts of Daan Mogot Street, Tangerang City. In its implementation, it will apply a one-way system.

Tangerang City Transportation Agency Head Wahyudi Iskandar, the system will be implemented starting today, Sunday, February 20.

He explained the reason for implementing the traffic engineering, because in that area there are often traffic jams.

"There are six traffic engineering schemes that have been implemented," Wahyudi said when confirmed, Sunday, February 20.

Six traffic engineering on Daan Mogot Street, Tangerang City:

1. Vehicles from Soekarno-Hatta Airport or Pembangunan 3 Street

A. Vehicles from Pembangunan 3 Street towards Jakarta can turn left onto Bouraq Street following the traffic light.

B. Vehicles from Pembangunan 3 Street who want to go to TMP Taruna Street or Sudirman Street turn left onto Bouraq Street. The driver then turns right using Mookevart Bridge 2 onto Daan Mogot road.

C. Vehicles from Pembangunan 3 Street who want to go to the Daan Mogot Toll Road can turn left onto Bouraq Street. Then the driver turns back at the meeting between Bouraq road and Daan Mogot road (only for small vehicles), while for large vehicles it can turn around in the next round.

2. Vehicles from the direction of Jakarta

A. Vehicles from the direction of Jakarta who want to go to the Daan Mogot Toll Road can immediately turn left onto the toll road.

B. Vehicles from Daan Mogot Street who want to go to Bouraq Street can turn right using the Mookevart 2 Bridge.

C. Vehicles from Daan Mogot Street who want to go to Sudirman Street take the leftmost lane to be able to turn left onto that road.

D. Vehicles from Daan Mogot Street who want to go to TMP Taruna Street take the left lane after the traffic light, then the driver immediately turns left onto TMP Taruna Street.

E. Vehicles from the toll road that want to go to TMP Taruna road can turn left onto Daan Mogot Street, take the far right lane.

3. Vehicles from Sitanala Street

A. Vehicles from Sitanala Street to Jakarta can go straight along Bouraq Street to Daan Mogot Street.

B. Vehicles from Sitanala Street who want to go to Soekarno-Hatta Airport can go straight to Bouraq Street. Then, the driver turns left onto Development road 3.

C. Vehicles from Sitanala Street who want to go to TMP Taruna Street or Sudirman Street can go straight to Bouraq Street, then turn right using the Mookevart 1 Bridge to Daan Mogot Street. Then, the driver turns left onto the TMP Taruna road following the traffic light.

D. Vehicles from Sitanala road that want to go to Daan Mogot Toll Road can continue straight along Bouraq road to Daan Mogot road. The driver then turns around at the meeting point between Bouraq Street and Daan Mogot Street (for small vehicles only), while for large vehicles, they can turn around in the next round.

4. Vehicles from the Daan Mogot Toll Road

A. Vehicles from the Daan Mogot Toll Road who want to go to TMP Taruna road can turn left onto Daan Mogot Street? Take the far right lane.

B. Vehicles from the direction of the Daan Mogot Toll Road who want to go to Soekarno-Hatta Airport can turn left onto Daan Mogot Street. After the traffic light, the driver takes the rightmost lane. Then, the driver turns right using Mookevart Bridge 1 onto Bouraq Road and turns left on Development road 3.

C. Vehicles from the direction of the Daan Mogot Toll Road who want to go to Jakarta can turn left onto Daan Mogot Street. The driver then takes the rightmost lane to be able to turn right using the Mookevart 2 Bridge to Bouraq Street. The rider then goes straight to the Daan Mogot road.

A. Vehicles from Jend Sudirman Street who want to go to TMP Taruna Street can turn left onto Daan Mogot Street. The driver then turns left onto the TMP Taruna road using the leftmost lane.

B. Vehicles from Jend Sudirman Street who want to go to the airport after the traffic lights can turn left onto Daan Mogot Street, taking the far right lane. Drivers then turn right using Mookevart Bridge 1 onto Bouraq Street. The driver then turns left on Construction road 3.

C. Vehicles from Jend Sudirman Street who want to go to Jakarta, after the traffic lights, can turn left onto Daan Mogot Street, taking the far right lane. The driver then turns right using the Mookevart 1 Bridge to Bouraq Street and then goes straight to Daan Mogot Street.

D. Vehicles from Jend Sudirman Street who want to go to the Daan Mogot Toll Road after the traffic lights can turn left onto Daan Mogot Street, taking the far right lane.
