Call Jokowi Workaholic, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung Admits Must Have Excellent Physical: If Not, You Will Be Oversized

JAKARTA - Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Pramono Anung admitted that he must always have a prime body condition in carrying out his work as a subordinate of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

Because, during the seven years of working under Jokowi's leadership, Pramono said Jokowi could never be silent at work. In a sense, Pramono must continue to accompany Jokowi who often makes working visits to various regions.

He conveyed this in the Podkabs Program (Cabinet and Cabinet Secretariat Podcasts) on the Cabinet Secretariat Youtube program.

“We serve the President, who is frankly a workaholic, never sits still, always works, travels everywhere. If we are not healthy, we are not strong, we are not prepared, we will be oversized," said Pramono, quoted on Sunday, January 6.

To the Special Staff (Staffsus) of President Putri Tanjung who hosted the Podkabs Program, she shared tips to stay fit in carrying out activities with President Jokowi. The first is to exercise regularly, especially cycling.

“Minimum (cycling) three times a week, so every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. Saturday 100 kilometers. So the target is 200 kilometers a week," said Pramono.

However, Pramono revealed that he and Minister of State Secretary Pratikno still enjoy working "serving" Jokowi so far.

“I, Mas Pratik, are two people who practically never rest. But we enjoy it and as a work team, I think this is a very compact work team,” said the former PDIP Secretary General.

On that occasion, Pramono told about other activities that he most often do every day besides work and cycling. Pramono said, he often spends time with his grandson by video calling.

Meanwhile, on social media, Pramono admitted that he did not want to be so serious in his activities in cyberspace. In fact, he said, the personal social media account was held by Mas Pram himself without the help of an admin.

“Three things I post for sure: grandchildren, bicycles, Pak Jokowi. I'm deliberately on my social media, I don't want to be too serious. Because day-to-day it is very serious, very serious, related to laws and regulations, related to people's positions, related to so many interesting interests, "explained Pramono.
