JAKARTA - The formation of a coalition of Islamic parties or the Islamic axis for the 2024 presidential election was previously promoted by the National Awakening Party (PKB). PKB also invited the United Development Party (PPP) and the National Mandate Party (PAN) to meet the presidential nomination threshold of 20 percent.

It's just that each party has not yet reached a point of agreement to nominate the same candidate in the 2024 presidential election. PKB remains adamant that its General Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar goes forward, while PPP and PAN want other candidates.

Now PPP is eyeing Anies and PAN is approaching Ridwan Kamil. So, are PKB, PPP, and PAN a form of a coalition of Islamic political parties?

PKB to Duet Prabowo-Cak Imin

Previously, the discourse of pairing Prabowo Subianto with Muhaimin Iskandar in the 2024 presidential election was declared by the Prabowo-Gus Muhaimin Front at the West Java People's Struggle Monument, Bandung City, recently.
