Four Punk-Looking Youths In Depok, Raping Female Buskers Who Are Resting Under The Flyover

DEPOK - Members of the Depok Metro Police Resmob arrested four punk-looking men suspected of raping a 19-year-old woman under the Fly Over Bridge University of Indonesia Access Road, Depok.

According to police officers, before carrying out the action the men had drunk alcohol.

The Head of Criminal Investigation at the Depok Metro Police, AKBP Yogen Baruno Heroes, said that after receiving the report, his party immediately carried out an investigation. And as a result, the police have arrested and named four perpetrators as suspects. Meanwhile, one of the perpetrators is still being chased by officers.

"Of the five perpetrators who have been arrested, four have been named suspects. While one more person is still on the DPO (in search)", explained AKBP Yogen, Monday, January 31.

Yogen also revealed that before the perpetrator launched his action, the victim had just rested after singing on the street. Then a few minutes later the victim was called by a colleague, usually a man in punk clothing.

"When the incident happened at 22.30 WIB, the victim was under pressure and was threatened with glass shards not to leave the place. After that, the victim was raped, which was carried out in rotation", he said.

Yogen said, based on the confessions of the suspects, they acted due to the influence of alcohol.

"The perpetrators admitted that they were under the influence of alcoholic drinks so that there was an incident of rape of the victim", said Yogen.

The professions of the perpetrators, continued AKBP Yogen, are street children and buskers who always move around.

"The four perpetrators are now in the Depok Metro Police Detention to be held accountable for their actions and are threatened with Article 285 of the Criminal Code regarding sexual harassment with a criminal threat of more than 5 years in prison", he concluded.
