JAKARTA - Member of Commission III of the DPR RI, Arteria Dahlan, praised the leadership of General Listyo Sigit Prabowo who had succeeded in bringing the Police in a better direction. The various programs launched by the National Police Chief Sigit before being elected, can be proven through real work.

"I can honestly say that the National Police Chief works in silence, doesn't talk much, doesn't do a lot of imagery but is results oriented. The National Police Chief rarely appears, he appears to talk a little but feels his leadership and benefits," said Arteria during a working meeting at Commission III monitored online, Jakarta, Monday. , January 24.

One of the things that the National Police Chief Sigit revealed at the meeting was about the presence of 1,062 Polsek in 343 Polres who were no longer focused on investigating legal cases. These Polsek were given a new task to maintain Kamtibnas and did not carry out investigations.

The task of the members is to focus on fostering the community. Even if a problem is found, it is taken with a restorative justice approach.

"This is humanist work, getting closer to the people, sir. I see that you are grounded to try and work together with the people, it looks like a strong atmosphere of improvement, seriousness is also to improve yourself," explained Arteria.

In addition, the PDI-P politician also highlighted the achievements of the National Police in uncovering tens of thousands of drug cases. Just imagine, in just five months of performance, 19,219 cases were revealed.

"Almost 20,000 cases in the last 5 months, there were IDR 11.5 trillion in rescues. Hopefully this is Sir, not only the Police are great, the BNN is also being helped to be great," explained Arteria.
