JAKARTA - The National Police's Criminal Investigation Unit is holding a reconstruction of the case of alleged gratification and bribery for the removal of red notice Djoko Tjandra at the National Police's International Relations Division Office and the main lobby of the National Police TNCC Building. The reconstruction was attended by the suspects, namely Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte, Brigadier General Prasetyo Utomo and Tommy Sumardi.

"Regarding the development of the JST red notice case. From this morning until evening at 16.00 WIB investigators carried out reconstruction in the TNCC office or building and precisely in the lobby of the TNCC building and the Divhubinter office," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Awi Setiyono to reporters, Thursday. , August 27th.

He said that the reconstruction was carried out to match the facts that happened with the results of the investigation. There were 3 suspects and 5 witnesses who were presented in this reconstruction.

In this case, Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte and Brigadier General Prasetyo Utomo were named as suspects because they were suspected of receiving bribes for the removal of red notice.

They are charged with Article 5 Paragraph 2, Article 11 and Article 12 letters a and b of Law Number 20 of 2020 concerning Corruption (Tipikor) in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, Tommy Sumardi was named a suspect on suspicion of grafting bribes. Sehungg, Tommy was charged with Article 5 Paragraph 1, Article 13 of Law 20 of 2020 concerning Corruption (Tipikor) in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code.

In the bribery case, investigators confiscated US $ 20 thousand, cellphones, including CCTV as evidence.
