According to him, the resident who was exposed to Omicron was a 28-year-old man. He stated that the young man had been confirmed positive since January 6, 2022, and is currently undergoing treatment in Jakarta.

He mentioned that the local COVID-19 Handling Task Force had traced the person concerned, thus finding as many as 10 people who were in close contact.

"Based on the results of the check, out of 10 people who had close contacts, they were declared negative. So we are focusing on that one person," said Brigadier General Fauzi.
