Ferdinand Hutahean Claims Heart And Mind Struggles When Tweeting "Your God Is Weak", Police: His Health Is Good

JAKARTA - The National Police confirmed that Ferdinand Hutahaean's health was in good condition. Previously, Ferdinand Hutahaean, a former Democrat politician had mentioned that there was a struggle in his heart and mind.

"If the health record is good. Then the tension is also good," said Head of Public Information, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters, Tuesday, January 11.

However, Ramadan did not mention the disease that had been claimed by Ferdinand Hutahaean. It was only emphasized from the results of the examination, that Ferdinand Hutahaean deserved to be detained.

"In principle, when the person is about to be detained, an examination is carried out first. An examination by a team of doctors states that the person concerned can be detained," said Ramadhan.

Currently, Ferdinand Hutahaean is being held at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. Detention of the suspect is of course based on subjective and objective reasons for the investigative team

"There are two reasons for the detention by investigators, the first is subjective, it is feared that the person concerned will run away, it is feared that the person concerned will repeat the act again, and it is feared that evidence will be lost," said Ramadhan.

"While the objective reason is that the alleged threat to the FH suspect is more than 5 years old," he continued.

Ferdinand Hutahaean was named a suspect in the alleged hate speech case. In this case, he faces up to 10 years in prison.

The criminal sanction was because Ferdinand was suspected of having multiple articles, namely, Article 14 paragraph 1 and 2 of the criminal law regulation of Law number 1 of 1946 and then Article 45 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 28 paragraph (2) of the ITE Law.
