Have The Heart! Man In North Sumatra Douses His Wife With Hard Water, Burns Face, Almost Blind Eyes

MEDAN - A woman named Sukesih (43) along with her son became victims of abuse by her own husband. The victim was doused with hard water by her husband Nanang Syahputra (37) causing burns to her face and almost blind right eye.

The Head of Criminal Investigation at the Joman Water Police, Ipda Adis Abeba, said the incident occurred on Jalan Pelita Lingkungan XV, Binjai Serbangan Village, Air Joman District, Asahan Regency, North Sumatra, on Thursday, January 6.

At first, the victim came from Lubuk Pakam, Deli Serdang Regency riding a motorbike to meet her husband at their home in Asahan.

"At that time, the victim came home wanting to meet her husband to take care of her child's school transfer documents. In the middle of the road, her husband's motorbike was grabbed by her husband", said Ipda Adis when confirmed on Friday, January 7th.

Then the victim's husband, Nanang directly hit the victim's head with his hand. At that time, Nanang, who was holding a white plastic filled with hard water, threw it at the victim's face

"That's where he was doused with hard water wrapped in plastic. So the victim felt hot. As a result of the liquid, her face was burned and her right eye was almost blind. Even the victim's child had burns on his right shoulder", he explained.

After that, the suspect immediately fled. The victim asked for help and the victim was immediately taken to the Air Joman Health Center, for treatment

"At that time the victim was wearing a helmet. The hard water even made her helmet melt and hit her face until her right eye. The suspect is being hunted and being chased", he explained.
