Big Profits For Tarakan Kaltara Residents, Answer Easy Questions From Jokowi, Prizes For Bikes

TARAKAN - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) again gave out bicycles to people who managed to answer questions correctly when visiting Tarakan City, North Kalimantan.

The bicycle distribution occurred when Jokowi handed over 13,455 land rights certificates to the people in Tarakan City and Bulungan Regency, North Kalimantan.

"Who memorized Pancasila?" Jokowi asked at the Keramat Lake Tennis Indoor Tennis Building, Tarakan City, North Kalimantan Province, Antara, Tuesday, December 22.

Jokowi asked the question after explaining the benefits of having a land certificate and also appreciating the National Land Agency (BPN) for their hard work in obtaining the certificate.

A mother from Tarakan named Nursiah raised her hand and correctly answered the question. "We have 17,000 islands. Can you name just 5 islands in Indonesia?" Jokowi asked the residents again.

Muhammad Fadlan Syah from Tarakan answered the question.

"The first is Sebatik Island, the second is Tarakan Island, the third is Java Island, the fourth is Sumatra Island, the last is Sadau Island," said Fadlan.

Jokowi then smiled at Fadlan's answer and confirmed the names of the islands. The last question the president asked was related to health protocols.

"We have to do what is called 3M. What's that?" Jokowi.

"Wear masks, keep distance and wash hands," replied Rini Nurmala, a mother from Tarakan.

After hearing the answer, Jokowi gave the bicycle.

"Those who could answer well were given bicycles," said Jokowi.

After almost two years of not distributing certificates to the people face-to-face, the President again distributed them and at the same time gave bicycles to the public who could answer the President's questions. The difference is, if before the pandemic the president appointed him to go on stage, this time he just stood up from his place and answered it.

Also present at the certificate presentation were Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of Agrarian Affairs/Head of BPN and Spatial Planning Sofyan Djalil, Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM Bahlil Lahadalia, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Governor of Kalimantan North Zainal Arifin Paliwang, and the Mayor of Tarakan Khairul.
