He said that referring to Law No. 34/2004 on the TNI, the TNI also carries out the main tasks of Military Operations Apart from War, including assisting the government in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

Whereas in Law Number 2/2002 concerning the Indonesian National Police, its main task is to protect the safety of body and soul, property, society and the environment from disturbances of order and / or disaster, including providing assistance and assistance by upholding human rights.
