PKS Problem Artists In The Work Creation Bill Campaign: If You Don't Have Data, It's The Same As Buzzer

JAKARTA - Chairman of the DPP PKS Mardani Ali Sera responded to a number of celebrities who campaigned for the Job Creation Bill to be a positive thing for society.

Mardani considers, if these public figures do not understand and present the data regarding the content of the Job Creation Bill, then they can be considered as the government's buzzer. Because, at this time the Omnibus Law was rejected by many parties.

"If they do not have data, it is no different from a buzzer. If he says that this will have a good impact, not even worsen our workforce, this is very dangerous," Mardani told reporters, Friday, August 14.

Mardani continued, it would be a dangerous thing if these public figures did not explain clearly the contents of the Job Creation Bill.

This is because the rejection of this bill is based on the potential for loss of job security, potential for reduced income, and loss of social security if the Omnibus Law on Cipta Kerja is passed.

"This is something very dangerous when the contents of the Job Creation Bill are not conveyed directly to the public. For me, this is a public fooling. It should be explained honestly what the bill contains, what impact it will have on society," he explained.

Some time ago, there were a number of influencers and artists who uploaded content supporting the Job Creation Bill. They mostly uploaded a video explaining why Indonesia needed the bill on their Instagram account with the hashtag #indonesiabutuhkerja.

However, recently a number of influencers and artists have deleted their content after being widely discussed by citizens on social media, especially on Twitter.

Some of the artists who were seen uploading videos with the hashtag #indonesia needed work were actor Gading Martin, actress Gisella, dangdut singer Cita Citata, dangdut singer Siti Badriah, dangdut singer Inul Daratista, soccer player Kim Kurniawan, and many more.
