JAKARTA - East Jakarta Metro Police investigators have named two suspects in an extramarital affair that occurred in the Condet area, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta. The two suspects have the initials R and FS.

R is a man, a resident of RT 07 RW 04 Batu Ampar. R is suspected of having sex with FS, a resident of RT 12 RW 04 Batu Ampar. While FS is the wife of HB.

"There have been two suspects, FS and a man (R) who had an affair with FS," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Erwin Kurniawan, Tuesday, November 23.

As a result of their actions, R and FS were charged with Article 284 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) regarding Adultery. Meanwhile, regarding the alleged spread of fake news, the police have not named HB as a suspect.

"It's still being investigated," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the alleged rape of a woman took place in the Condet area, Batuampar, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, on Thursday 18 November. After going viral on social media, the police intervened.

East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Erwin Kurniawan clarified the alleged rape. The facts revealed, there was no rape but an affair.

The woman who was originally reported to have been a victim of rape admitted that her actions were consensual.

"It is true that there is no element of coercion, because the wife has also admitted her guilt in front of her husband and has made a black and white statement, and promised not to repeat it again," he said when confirmed in East Jakarta.
