JAMBI - A joint team from the Jambi Police Mobile Unit (Resmob) and the Batanghari Police re-arrested 13 prisoners who escaped on Monday, November 15 from the Special Child Development Institution (LPKA) cell in Sungai Buluh Village, Muarabulian District, Batanghari Regency, Jambi Province.

Jambi Police Public Relations Head Commissioner Mulya Prianto said six detainees had been arrested while the remaining seven surrendered. They have been detained at the Jambi Police Detention Center.

"Now there are as many as 11 more detainees who have not been caught and are currently still being searched by a joint team from the Jambi Regional Police and the Batanghari Police," he said in a written statement, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, November 17.

For the 11 prisoners who are still on the run, Mulya ensured that the police continued to pursue them.

"Based on instructions from the Jambi Regional Police Chief, within one week, all the escaped prisoners have been arrested," he explained.
