For this double position, Constitutional Law expert Refly Harun asked the Ministry of Home Affairs to deactivate Gibran for allegedly violating the provisions of Article 76, Article 77 of Law Number 23 of 2014.

"Gibran should have been disabled for violating this article", said Refly via YouTube broadcast @Refly Harun on November 15.

According to Refly, the provisions in the Articles of the Law must be obeyed. The Solo City Regional House of Representatives was also asked to supervise the alleged violation of Gibran.

Separately, Gibran denied that he was still active in these companies. Currently, the company is managed by his younger brother, Kaesang Pangarep.

"I have been inactive for a long time, after the nomination, I was not active. Everything is taken care of by Kaesang", said Gibran as quoted from Youtube news Surakarta, Tuesday, November 16.

Gibran said these companies were pioneered long ago. But when he ran for the Solo Municipal Election, Gibran immediately abandoned everything. Even when he came to Jakarta, Gibran had never been to the company's office.

"For example, when I go to Jakarta, I never stop by. The office is managed by Kaesang and several people", said Gibran.

Gibran added that the administrative process regarding the company is also being taken care of. Moreover, next year, he must report the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN).

"It's oke, it's clear that I've never been active in the company since the nomination. I leave everything to Kaesang. Here again, yo, my signature is wae wis ra payu ning of the company (It's not sold anymore). Kaesang kabeh saiki (Kaesang takes care of everything)", said Gibran.
