JAKARTA - The National Police stated that the recruitment process for 57 former KPK employees did not encounter significant obstacles. So far the process is still ongoing.

"Regarding the recruitment of former employees of the former KPK, we convey that it is still in process and there are no obstacles," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division, Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters on Monday, November 15.

However, Ramadhan did not specify how far the process had gone. He said, if all processes starting from the legal basis have been completed, they will be submitted to the public.

"We are just waiting for the process to run when the results are there, of course we will convey it," Ramadhan said briefly.

Previously, the National Police stated that the legal umbrella for recruiting 57 former KPK employees to become State Civil Apparatus (AS) was expected to be completed in the near future.

"It is currently underway, hopefully it will be completed soon," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono. The legal umbrella regulates the mechanism for recruiting former KPK employees. In formulating this legal basis, the National Police cooperates with the relevant ministries.

So, in the future, former KPK employees will become legal State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of the Police.

"A legal umbrella is being made for the implementation of recruitment. Everything is prepared so that when recruitment is carried out, its legality can be maintained," said Rusdi
