Reshuffle Issue Appears, Tjahjo Kumolo: We Are All TNI, Obey According To Instructions

JAKARTA - Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (MenPAN-RB), Tjahjo Kumolo, said all ministers in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet had worked hard to carry out the vision and mission of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin.

This was conveyed by him following the circulation of the issue of a cabinet reshuffle or reshuffle that was voiced by various parties. According to Tjahjo, this discussion is natural and everyone is free to express their opinions and observations.

"The right as an observer is free to provide observations, especially regarding the performance of cabinet members. It can be objective and subjective, it is the observer's full right, we respect it", said Tjahjo in a written statement, Friday, November 12.

However, he made sure that all ministers in the cabinet had worked hard. The entire vision and mission of President Jokowi's government stressed Tjahjo, always strives to be explained clearly to the public.

"In my opinion, all members of the cabinet have worked hard to describe the vision and mission of Mr. President Jokowi and Mr. Vice President Ma'ruf Amin", said the PDI-P politician.

Even so, he did not deny that a different assessment could be given by President Jokowi. Moreover, the former Governor of DKI Jakarta certainly has his own assessment of his subordinates objectively.

However, regardless of the assessment, Tjahjo emphasized that the ministers in the cabinet will certainly follow his instructions.

"The objective assessment of the performance of cabinet members is the assessment of the President. The tenure of cabinet members as assistants to the President can be one day, one month, one year, or one or two terms of office", he said.

"(However, ed) we leave everything to the decision of the President. (Because, ed) as assistants to the President, we are all TNI (Army), obeying President Jokowi's instructions", added Tjahjo.

It was previously reported that although news of a cabinet reshuffle or reshuffle circulated, President Jokowi admitted that he had not thought about it.

"The reshuffle has not yet been thought out", said Jokowi after attending the top event for the 10th Anniversary of the NasDem Party in Jakarta, Thursday, November 11.

He also gave the same answer regarding the possibility of the inclusion of the National Mandate Party (PAN) in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet. "The reshuffle has not thought that way", he concluded.
