JAKARTA - A woman named Olivia Kloppin from Vermont, United States, became a hot topic of conversation on social media after sharing her unique story. She was born in a rare condition that caused one of her arms to be bigger.

Through her TikTok video that has been watched more than 16 million times, Olivia casually explains that this condition does not prevent her from living a normal life.

Olivia admitted that her venous blood vessels do not have a regular muscle wall around the arm, resulting in widening and risking blood clots.

"Simply put, my blood vessels don't have normal muscle walls to keep them in shape. So it went wide, and I had blood clots. But it didn't hurt me. His blood pressure just stayed on my arm," he said in the video, quoted by VOI from the People page on Monday, March 31.

"My wife has a clot because my blood vessels are not straight. Because it is wide, my blood flow is not as smooth as other people, so blood can clot and it can hurt," he added.

Kloppin added that sometimes blood clots only last five minutes, but other times can last up to a week. However, this condition didn't really prevent him from doing anything.

"I play, I exercise, I do everything people do in general. The only thing that hinders me is when I experience blood clots. It can be painful when doing daily activities," he added.

In another video, he explains that his affected hands have more flexible joints and often become swollen.

"My wife doesn't always look like this. It's a birth defect, I always have it, but it's not always this big," he said while sharing a photo of his childhood, where his arm looks smaller.

Kloppin admits that his arm size often attracts other people's attention and questions. However, he responded casually on TikTok, even sharing about people's reactions to him. In one video, he says all his ex-partners have never had a problem with his condition.

"Of course, when he first met a partner, he always asked about my condition, and I understand," he said.

"My relationship looks different, so it's only natural that they want to ask questions. But no one has ever had a problem with that," he added.

As a child, he admitted that he had changed schools and realized that his new friends looked hesitant to ask about the condition of his arm.

"I don't mind at all if people ask questions. I always explain. But usually, after they get to know me further or often with me, they tend to forget about my arm." he added.
