JAKARTA - NTB Governor Zulkieflimansyah dismissed the news of Ducati's wrath when a 26-second video went viral on social media.

The video shows an individual in white, allegedly the organizing committee of the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA), opening the cover of the Ducati Panigale V4R motorcycle raced by Michael Ruben Rinaldi, in the paddock area.

According to Zulkieflimansyah, there was no anger from the Ducati side. The public is asked not to make noise by frying the news.

"Yesterday, Ducati was really angry because the motorbike was opened in Mandalika. Ducati has just released a statement that Ducati has never been angry like the one that went viral. Let's be careful about going viral something that is not necessarily true. Unfounded noise hurts us all," said Zulkieflimansyah via Twitter account- his, @bangzul_ntb quoted Friday, 12 November.

In his upload, Zulkieflimansyah also included a photo of a statement from Ducati which stated, "Contrary to what some media have reported regarding the events at Mandalika International Street Circuit,..."

"We are really looking forward to seeing all the fans in Indonesia and visiting Indonesia,..."

According to Zulkieflimansyah, this is just a small mistake and mistake.

"If there are small mistakes and mistakes here and there, it's normal as part of learning. Let's support each other and spread positive energy so that our place becomes a comfortable and fun place for all of us," he wrote.

Early Thursday 11 November, the leading motorsport media Speedweek leaked videos and photos of a person suspected of being the local organizer of the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) when he opened a Ducati cargo box and "tampered with" motorcycle number 21 riding Michael Rinaldi.

According to regulations, cargo and logistics team crates may only be opened by Customs and Excise or the team itself. It aims to prevent manipulation and espionage from other camps. No doubt it was reported to invite the anger of the Ducati.

Suddenly, the video which was also spread on Facebook and Youtube was also widely discussed by netizens.

They are worried that the incident will undermine Indonesia's credibility in rolling out an event like the WSBK World Championship. Moreover, WSBK Mandalika is attracting attention because it is the final series and the determinant of the 2021 WSBK World Championship.
