Bruck! Tree Collapses Due To Heavy Rain In Sleman Breaks Dartono's Bones

JAKARTA - Four people were injured and had to be hospitalized due to a falling tree on Jalan Teknika UGM or north of Dr Sardjito Hospital, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region during heavy rains.

"In addition to causing trees to fall, today's heavy rain also caused landslides in Gedang Bawah, Prambanan and hit a resident's house," said Head of the Emergency and Logistics Division of BPBD Sleman Makwan in Sleman, Thursday, November 11.

According to him, the heavy rain also caused several trees to fall at a number of points, including in Sleman District, Gamping District and others.

"Trees that fell and hit the electricity network as well as blocked access roads have now been conditioned and have been successfully evacuated," he said, quoted from Antara.

He said that the landslide in Gedang Bawah Prambanan affected one family head (KK) consisting of four people and threatened three houses in the vicinity, consisting of three families and nine people.

"We have distributed aid in the form of equipment to clean avalanche materials including rickshaws, hoes, senggrong and food logistics for victims and community service," he said.

Makwan said the victim who was injured by a fallen tree on Jalan Teknika UGM had been treated at Dr Sardjito Hospital Yogyakarta, with inpatient and outpatient conditions.

The four victims are Hentik Setyorini (40), a resident of Bedingin, Tlogoadi, Mlati, Sleman with complaints of trauma to the arm, X-ray results, normal, outpatient and have returned home.

Then FX Dartono (45), whose residence address is Kanisius Klepu Elementary School, Sendangmulyo, Minggir, Sleman, whose address is Jombak Siten's ID card, Sumbermulyo, Bambanglipuro, Bantul, suffered injuries to his left hand and back.

"The victim was diagnosed with a 9th rib or rib fracture and had to be hospitalized," he said.

Another victim is Valentinus Arviano (9) whose address is SD Kanisius Klepu, Sendangmulyo, Minggir, Sleman, suffered a minor head injury, was hospitalized and has returned home.

Then Efi Yanti (36), where Kanisius Klepu Elementary School lives, Sendangmulyo, Minggir, Sleman, whose ID card address is Jombak Siten, Sumbermulyo, Bambanglipuro, Bantul, complaining of slight leg pain.
