Caught Stealing, Two Youths In Tangsel Battered Beaten By Mobs

SOUTH TANGERANG – Residents on Pesantren Street, Jelupang, North Serpong, South Tangerang, Wednesday, November 10, suddenly crowded with people knowing that two young men were caught stealing motorbikes. Emotional residents immediately beat the two perpetrators.

The suspect was arrested after he fell from a motorbike after hitting another motorbike while trying to escape.

According to information, the incident began when the two perpetrators were caught breaking the ignition of Haryono's automatic motorcycle (30), at around 17.30 WIB.

Entering Maghrib time, Haryono's mother named Rohayati (51) intends to turn on the headlights of the house. At that time, the motorbike was parked on the terrace of the house.

"Initially, my mother wanted to turn on the light, and then she became suspicious that my motorbike had shifted. At first, my motorbike was near the terrace, but it had turned back. Now, I was alone outside the house, not far", explained Haryono to reporters.

Rohayati grew suspicious when She saw two men with suspicious behavior in front of the house. One person is on an automatic motorcycle, while the other is seen slipping a T-shaped letter key.

"It looks like the one perpetrator slipped the letter T key, finally my mother reflexively shouted a thief. Both of them immediately ran away, when they were around the front of the motorcycle house she had hit a pickup truck, then got up and ran away again in another direction", Haryono explained.

Haryono, knowing that his motorbike was wanted to be stolen, immediately chased the perpetrator with a motorbike.

"The perpetrator crashed again while running away, hit a motorbike on the road. The distance from my house to the location where he was hit was about 300 meters. I went there, the characteristics were the same. When he was searched, he was carrying the letter T key", he added.

In a video circulating on social media, the online motorcycle taxi driver also surrounded the two perpetrators who had been detained by officers.

"I just finished making a report at the Sector Police. The police said it was still being developed", said Haryono.
