Loyalty Guarantee From KSAL Yudo Margono 15 Minutes After Andika Perkasa Was Chosen As Candidate For TNI Commander

JAKARTA - The Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy (KSAL) Admiral Yudo Margono confirmed that he would be loyal to President Jokowi's decision. Admiral Yudo gave a guarantee for it.

The name of Admiral Yudo Margono was previously also predicted to be a strong candidate to replace Marshal Hadi Hadi Tjahjanto as TNI Commander. But as we know in the end, President Jokowi's choice fell to Army Chief of Staff General Andika Perkasa.

As soon as he found out that his name was not written in the Presidential Letter, the count was less than 15 minutes, Yudo had given firm directions to all ranks in the Indonesian Navy.

"We must be loyal to what has been determined by the president because the president is the highest ruler of the Indonesian Army, Navy, and Air Force, so whatever has been decided (the president) must be the best decision for the TNI and the best for the country and nation," said Yudo Margono, Tuesday, November 9th.

Yudo ensures that every soldier must obey the line of command. So all ranks of the Indonesian Navy will also comply with what President Jokowi has chosen.

The Navy will also be loyal to the new TNI Commander. Yudo guarantees that he will support all programs from a commander.

"Of course, law enforcement and sovereignty at sea are still the main tasks of the Navy, we will do it as much as possible," he said.

The Indonesian Navy must be loyal and support the leadership of General Andika Perkasa.

"He is my senior and he is certainly the best because he has been chosen as the TNI Commander," he explained.
