Legitimate! The House of Representatives Agrees General Andika To Be Commander Of The Indonesian Armed Forces

JAKARTA - The Indonesia House of Representatives Plenary Meeting has officially approved General Andika Perkasa as the candidate for TNI (Army) Commander. He is the only candidate that has been proposed by President Joko Widodo to the Indonesian House of Representatives last week.

Chairperson of Commission I of the Indonesia House of Representatives, Meutya Hafid, in her report, said that Commission I of the House of Representatives has conducted a feasibility test for the candidate for TNI Commander on Saturday, November 6 to hear General Andika's vision and mission.

After that, it was immediately followed by making a decision, which was to agree to the honorable discharge of Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto as Commander of the TNI and to give appreciation for his dedication while leading the TNI.

Second, give General Andika Perkasa's approval as TNI Commander. The report is then asked to make a plenary decision.

"Can the House of Representatives Commission I report regarding the honorable dismissal of Marshal Hadi and General Andika's approval as a candidate for the Commander of the TNI be approved", said Indonesia House of Representatives Chair, Puan Maharani, at the Indonesia House of Representatives Plenary Meeting, Jakarta, Monday, November 8.

After that, all members of the House of Representatives who were present at the Plenary Meeting virtually and physically agreed to General Andika Perkasa as a candidate for TNI Commander. And followed by a group photo.
