The Figure Of 'Father' In The Communication Of The PDIP-Harun Masiku Security Guard, Language Expert: Not Hasto Kristiyanto

JAKARTA - Language expert from the University of Indonesia (UI) Frans Asisi Datang menyebut sosok 'Father' yang disebutkan dalam sambungan telepon antara satpam PDIP, Nurhasan, dengan Harun Masiku bukanlah Hasto Kristiyanto.

Hal itu disampaikannya menjawab pertanyaan dari Ronny Talapessy, kuasa hukum Hasto Kristiyanto dalam persidangan kasus dugaan suap pergantian Inter-Time (PAW) anggota DPR dan perintangan penyidikan perkara Harun Masiku.

Ronny in the trial alluded to the contents of the Nurhasan Investigation Report (BAP), precisely number 9 and 10 who explained his ignorance about the father Harun Masiku was referring to.

In addition, at the BAP, Nurhasan said that he only followed orders from two unknown people with sharp hair characteristics like a 'member' to call Harun Masiku.

"Can you help explain what you said, sir, in this BAP?" asked Ronny during a trial at the Jakarta Corruption Court, Thursday, June 12.

"Here, 9 and 10, you are unknown people," replied Frans.

Ronny then emphasized that the question about the father that Nurhasan meant was not Hasto Kristiyanto but the two unknown people.

"Doesn't that mean Hasto Kristiyanto?" asked Ronny emphasizing.

"No," replied Frans.

Hearing this statement, Ronny then read out Nurhasan's statement who had testified at the previous trial. The PDIP DPP security guard stated that the father in question was two unknown people.

In addition, Nurhasan also denied when questioned about the figure of the father in question was PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto.

Frans then stated that when referring to the statement at the trial, the figure of the father in question was Hasto Kristiyanto.

"Yes, if this is the same as the previous one, it doesn't lead to that," said Frans.

"This must not be clear, sir, this trial concerns the fate of the father, this is a key witness who has been examined, he is the one who experienced it directly, he explained that the father was not Hasto Kristiyanto," said Ronny.

"If it's not based on this," replied Frans.

"So the father who means it is not Hasto Kristiyanto?" asked Ronny again to confirm.

"Not Hasto Kristiyanto," said Frans.

In the alleged bribery case, Hasto was jointly charged with advocate Donny Tri Istiqomah; the former convict of the Harun Masiku case, Saeful Bahri; and Harun Masiku gave money amounting to 57,350 Singapore dollars or equivalent to Rp600 million to Wahyu in the 2019-2020 period.

The money is allegedly given with the aim that Wahyu seeks the KPU to approve an interim replacement request (PAW) for the Elected Legislative Candidate for the Electoral Region (Dapil) of South Sumatra (Sumsel) I on behalf of DPR Members for the 2019-2024 period Riezky Aprilia to Harun Masiku.

In addition, Hasto was also charged with obstructing the investigation by ordering Harun, through the Aspiration House guard, Nur Hasan, to submerge Harun's cell phone into the water after the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) arrested members of the General Election Commission (KPU) for the 2017-2022 period Wahyu Setiawan.

Not only Harun Masiku's cellphone, Hasto is also said to have ordered his aide, Kusnadi, to drown his cell phone in anticipation of forced attempts by KPK investigators.

Hasto is threatened with a crime as regulated in Article 21 and Article 5 Paragraph (1) letter a or Article 13 of Law (UU) Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended and supplemented by Law Number 20 of 2001 in conjunction with Article 65 Paragraph (1) and Article 55 Paragraph (1) 1 jo. Article 64 Paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.
