Call 212 Reunion Demanding The Release Of Rizieq Shihab Democracy, Chancellor Musni Umar Lectured: Where Was High School?

JAKARTA - The Chancellor of the Ibnu Chaldun University Jakarta, Musni Umar, said that the grand agenda of the 212 Reunion which was held in December this year as part of strengthening democracy in Indonesia. During the reunion, the masses at the same time demanded the release of Rizieq Shihab.

Musni Umar's opinion was expressed through a tweet on Twitter, @musniumar received a negative response from social media activist, Ferdinand Hutahaean. According to Ferdinand, democracy is clearly different from the use of mass power to demand something.

"This person is incapable of distinguishing between DEMOCRACY, LAW ENFORCEMENT, and LEGAL PROCESSES and LEGAL INTERVENTION", Ferdinand explained to @FerdinandHaean3 quoted Tuesday, November 2.

"Exerting the power of the masses to intervene in the legal process, let alone threats, is not democracy. Mus, where did you go to high school?", continued Ferdinand.

According to Musni, one of the most important parts of democracy is gathering peacefully to express opinions. Including Reunion 212 which is claimed to bring more than 7 million people.

"They will demand the release of Habib Rieziq Syihab (HRS) and the settlement of cases of gross human rights violations against the murder of 6 FPI soldiers", said Musni Umar.

"Democracy must be maintained, cared for, and developed. One of the efforts is the 212 Grand Reunion. This reunion must be supported because it is part of the democratic party", added Musni. Because it is part of democracy, Musni asked that the event not be hindered or suspected.
