So The Search Engineer, Billie Eilish House Pictures In Google Street View Blurred

JAKARTA - The appearance of Billie Eilish's house on Google Street View is blurred for reasons of security and privacy. This happened after a stalker visited his home seven times a week.

The 18-year-old singer, who still lives in her family home in Los Angeles, reported on the actions of 24-year-old Prenell Rosseau earlier this month. The police granted the report and issued a restraining order against Rosseau.

The bungalow has now been blurred on the online map, as well as on VirtualGlobeTrotting.Com, with a message that reads: "This map location has been removed due to privacy concerns."

Eilish is following in the footsteps of the likes of Sir Paul McCartney, Lily Allen and Jimmy Page. Their homes have also been clouded by search engines amid security and privacy concerns.

"If someone wants us to cover their entire house, car or body, they can submit a request using the 'Report a problem' tool," a Google spokesperson told The Sun.

"We have developed face and license plate updating technology designed to blur identifiable faces and license plates in Google contributed imagery in Street View."

Google doesn't currently allow people to completely remove images from the web, but will blur images if privacy concerns arise.

Back to Billie Eilish's problem. Rousseau first appeared uninvited about two weeks ago, ringing the doorbell and asking if Eilish lived there.

After Eilish's father told him no, Rousseau returned home that night and exhibited "erratic behavior."

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the singer said, “While we were waiting for the authorities, Rousseau stayed on our terrace, sat down and started reading books, while continuing to engage in periodic monologues. My father repeatedly asked him to leave, but he refused ... "

The judge's order stipulated that Rousseau must stay 200 yards (182 meters) from Eilish and his parents and stop all contact attempts. The trial is scheduled for June 1.
