JAKARTA - Ravel Entertainment officially announced major changes regarding the implementation of the Hammersonic Festival 2026 which will be held at NICE PIK 2 on May 2 and 3.
In response to the cancellation of the main performers, especially New Found Glory, due to global logistical constraints, the organizers took drastic steps by reducing ticket prices by up to 50 percent to maintain the trust of hard rock fans in the country.
It is said that the lineup adjustment was made after the cancellation of flights triggered by the current geopolitical conditions in the world. This situation forced the lineup that had been scheduled to appear on the stage of the largest metal festival in Southeast Asia to be canceled.
As a form of compensation, Ravel Entertainment set a new price for the 2-Day Pass category, which was originally priced at Rp. 1,099,000 to Rp. 550,000.
With the new price, the cost of watching the stage performance of foreign musicians at Hammersonic 2026 is now equivalent to only IDR 275,000 per day. And I really apologize to all the Hammerheads, who have always supported me and the Hammersonic Festival," said Ravel Junardy in his statement, Monday, April 13.
Furthermore, Ravel explained that for viewers who have previously purchased tickets at the normal price, they need not worry about feeling disadvantaged. The promoter has implemented a special policy where one ticket that has been purchased before the latest announcement is now valid for two people. This step is an effort to mitigate public disappointment due to the loss of some big names from the event poster.
Despite losing some performers, Hammersonic 2026 still promises high production quality by bringing new names such as Dashboard Confessional, Ellegarden, and Malevolence into the list of performers. Other additional names are promised to be announced soon to complete the remaining available slots.
Ravel Entertainment also emphasized its commitment to continue to hold festivals with maximum safety and comfort standards.
