Due to Political Choices, Jessica Sutta Feels Left Out of Pussycat Dolls Reunion

JAKARTA - Behind the decision to reunite the Pussycat Dolls, there is a controversy about the absence of a number of original members.

One of the original Pussycat Dolls, Jessica Sutta, has bluntly revealed why she was not involved in the reunion tour, which is claimed to be closely related to her political choices in the United States.

Sutta openly stated that his allegiance to a certain political movement made him marginalized. The singer, who was born in Florida, felt that management and other personnel viewed his political status as a burden on the group's image.

"I align myself with Bobby Kennedy, who also aligns himself with MAGA (Make America Great Again). I am a liability," Jessica Sutta said while appearing on The Maverick Approach.

He even did not hesitate to call the reunion project, which now only has three members, an effort to seek profit only.

The Pussycat Dolls reunion only featured Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, and Ashley Roberts.

In addition to Sutta, Carmit Bachar also admitted that she was not contacted about this project and only learned of the plan through a public announcement. Meanwhile, Melody Thornton has remained uninvolved since the group first disbanded in 2010.

Sutta's change of political views was triggered by his personal experience after the pandemic. He admitted that he suffered from a disabling injury, which he believed was a side effect of the Covid-19 vaccine.

This condition led him to support Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK Jr.) in the 2024 US presidential election campaign. Although aware of public pressure, Sutta chose to remain firm in his principles.

"People were yelling at me, 'You MAGA, you MAGA.' Yeah, I am MAGA. I doubled down on that belief because I'm sick of people dictating who I'm supposed to be," Sutta said.

Through a post on his social media, Sutta also gave a last message that was shocking to his colleagues. He stated that one should not be tripped up by things that are already behind. "Good luck, ladies," he concluded.
