JAKARTA - Former Slipknot drummer Jay Weinberg announced his plans to sell a number of 'treasures' during his 17-year career. Some of the proceeds will be donated.

Some of the collections that will be auctioned by the 35-year-old musician include drum sets, stage outfits, and scary masks that are Slipknot's signature. These items are collectible items that have historical value.

There are drum kits that Jay used for Bruce on the Working On A Dream tour in 2009, the set he used with Slipknot, and many more.

The sale of the goods will be carried out through Reverb.com on March 18. Jay donated a portion of the proceeds to MusiCares, a non-profit organization run by the Recording Academy.

All the items sold are personal collections that Jay wore in his career with several groups. Not only Slipknot, he was also involved in other music projects such as Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band and Against Me!.

Jay Weinberg was also a member of Suicidal Tendencies before finally announcing his departure earlier this year. After two years, he decided to look for new challenges out there.
